    Mr. Jia Shusen, born the 3rd day of the 2nd month of the year Ji Chou in Beijing, possesses a Traditional Chinese Medicine College diploma, is a TCM doctor. He is the inner circle disciple of a well-known acupuncture master, Professor He Puren as well as the member of the He Style San Tong Acupuncture Therapy Research Institute. Mr. Jia Shusen attained the 7th Dan in Chinese Wushu. He is the commissioner and director of the Beijing Wushu Association and used to be the deputy secretary general, secretary general and the 3rd president of the Ba Gua Zhang Research Institute of Beijing Wushu Association.
 
   
    Mr. Jia Shusen began practicing long fist and Shaolin at a very young age. During the period of the “Cultural Revolution” in China, he (being a so-called educated urban youth at that time) studied Chinese Acupuncture with a patrimonial Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor, Mr. Ma Zitong, who was also banished to the countryside. Since 1971, Mr. Jia has been studying Traditional Chinese Medicine Qigong and Martial Arts Qigong. In 1979, he was accepted as the inner circle disciple of Mr. Li Wenzhang, studied Yin and Cheng Style Ba Gua Zhang and their weapons (Ba Gua Zhang is an advanced stage of Qigong). During this period, Mr. Jia learned Wu Style Taiji and Xing Yi under the instructions of Mr. Wang Rongtang.
 
    Mr. Jia Shusen has been studying Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Moxibustion and He Style San Tong Acupuncture therapy with Professor He Puren since 1983. From the 1980’s to the early 1990’s, Mr. Jia Shusen studied Sanda and applications of Chinese Martial Arts with Coach Mei Huizhi. Mr. Jia Shusen used to be the deputy secretary general of the Chinese Martial Arts Applications Research Institute and engaged in coaching and organizing Sanda competitions. Therefore, in 2007, Mr. Jia Shusen was awarded as “Hundred Outstanding Persons in the field of Chinese Martial Arts Applications” by this same institute for the contribution he did and is still doing for the Chinese Martial Arts Applications.
 
    In 1993, Mr. Li Wenzhang recommended Jia Shusen to a famous Chinese Martial Artist of the Cheng Style Ba Gua Zhang, Mr. Sun Zhijun. Thus, he became the inner circle disciple of Mr. Sun and studied hard Cheng Style Ba Gua Zhang and its weapons. In the same year, Mr. Jia Shusen set up “Grang Ming” Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic. In clinical practice, he combines Traditional Chinese Martial Arts and Qigong with acupuncture and massage, uses Taiji & Ba Gua Zhang theory in diagnose and applies Taiji & Ba Gua Zhang energy in therapeutics. In 1998, cooperated with Mr. Han Jianzhong, Mr. Jia Shusen built “Beijing Ba Da Ling Great Wall Wushu School” in Beiguan Village, Yanqing County Beijing and served the post of the first president.
 
    In 2004, Mr. Jia Shusen was elected as 3rd president of the Ba Gua Zhang Research Institute. In 2008, Mr. Jia Shusen was accepted as the inner circle disciple of a real master of Chen Style Taiji and the very founder of Hunyuan Taiji, Mr. Feng Zhiqiang, and studied Chen style Taiji, Hunyuan Taiji and their weapens.
 
    In December 2008, Mr. Jia Shusen immigrated to the US as an Alien of Extraordinary Ability. He is now committed to the development of the Traditional Chinese culture, Traditional Chinese Martial Arts and the clinical research of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, Qigong and the “Natural Health Dietotherapy”, expecting that it can benefit the society and the people of the US.

·        Advanced Therapeutic Massage Certificate issued by Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China in2008.
·        The deputy director of TCM Physician certificate awarded by the TCM Development & Research Institute of Refractory Diseases of the China Medicine Promotion Academy in 2000;
·        Graduated from the Beijing Advanced Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1999, majored in Traditional Chinese Medicine;
·        Graduated from the Hua Tuo School of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1998, majored in Acupuncture;
·        Participated in the First International Chinese Balance Acupuncture and Moxibustion Convention in April 1997;
·        Graduated from the Hua Tuo School of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1997, majored in Tuina & Massage (high level);
·        Graduated from Wang Wenyuan Chinese Balance Science of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Practical Technique Study Class in 1996;
·        Graduated from the Hua Tuo Kangle School of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1993, majored in Tuina & massage;
 
    Since 1983, Mr. Jia Shusen has been practicing He Style San Tong acupuncture therapy with Professor He Puren. On December 26th, 2000, he was accepted as the inner circle disciple of Master He Puren. After over 20 years of teaching by personal example as well as verbal instruction by Professor He Puren, Mr. Jia Shusen inherited all the knowledge and true skills of his Shifu. Meanwhile he learns from other schools and obtained the superiority but doesn’t limit to the fixed style. After years of clinical practices, a special, effective and creative curative style gradually comes into being in his therapeutics. He found some experiential acupoints and treatments and firstly practiced on his own body to find out their exact effects.

    For the past 20 years, Mr. Jia Shusen has been training a great number of Wushu talents and champions. Some of his disciples won championships in national and international Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Competitions. Many of them ran their own Chinese Martial Arts clubs and Traditional Chinese Medicine Qigong and massage clinics both at home and abroad.

    Over the years, Mr. Jia Shusen has been diving into the Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, combines TCM with Traditional Martial Arts; integrate health care into Martial Arts applications.
